I wish I had ample time to take a bubble bath, while somebody recorded me, as I brag about my Vodka… while I’m sippin’ on it out of a martini glass… #mustbenice. But that Very Berry or whatever the red bottle is called is pretty good.

Liqour Please………………..

April 19th, 2010 | By YourAddiction

With the summer here, one of the biggest national holidays for stoners, and of course the now evident fact that Snewty only brings the newest and most progressively dope items to the web, I have to present

Absinthe

Now of course, many of you have heard about this once illegal drink, and 9 out of 10 times you heard that this is the “hallucinogenic” liquor and 100% of the time that is a false statement.

Absinthe has enjoyed the reputation of being a creativity enhancer and aphrodisiac for over 200 years now. Henri-Louis Pernod’s original absinthe recipe included green anise, fennel, angelica, hyssop and wormwood (which contains the neurotoxin thujone). Chlorophyll was then added to give absinthe a green hue thus giving rise to its romantic nickname “La Fée Verte” or the green fairy. Nearly a century after its near global ban, absinthe is making a dramatic comeback. Most members of the European Union now allow the sale of absinthe, with a limit of 35 milligrams of thujone per kilogram.”

Absinthe actually can be said to give the feeling of awakening because unlike most alcoholic beverages the main ingredients are natural stimulants such as thujone or wormwood.

I have had the drink and it is neither for lightweights nor something that you play superman with, but it is a great bottle to have around and sip with friends, best to order offline from www.originalabsinthe.com. They have everything you need including proper preparations.

Ciroc adds two new flavors

March 11th, 2010 | By Isis

Like original CÎROC vodka, the new flavors are made using fine French grapes that are cold fermented (not unlike fine wines) and distilled five times. The final distillation uses a traditional copper pot-still, a process normally reserved for the creation of fine whiskey or brandy. The vodka is then carefully blended with all-natural ingredients to create an exceptionally smooth new liquid. CÎROC RED BERRY is infused with a unique balance of fresh wild raspberry and luscious ripe strawberry essences, while CÎROC COCONUT is infused with sweet and creamy coconut and a hint of other tropical fruit. CÎROC RED BERRY and CÎROC COCONUT will be available in 50mL, 375mL, 750mL, 1L and 1.75L sizes. The flavors will be priced at parity to CÎROC’s base brand with a suggested retail price of $30.00 for a 750mL bottle. The new liquids are 35% ABV

Hennessy Celebrates Its Heritage

February 8th, 2010 | By Isis

It turns out that Hennessy isn’t just the preferred beverage of African Amerians for taste alone. Hennessy is also making stirdes to give back. They have released a limited edition bottle. The Hennessy V.S Historic Limited Edition bottles will be individually numbered.  Only 300,000 (750ml) collector’s item bottles have been produced and will be available for sale throughout the U.S. on Martin Luther King Jr. Day – January 18, 2010 – through the end of Black History Month –  February 28, 2010. To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the National Urban League, Hennessy will donate a percentage of the proceeds to NUL for every bottle of Historic Limited Edition Hennessy V.S sold. The unique design combines the iconic shape of the V.S bottle with the graphical elements of the original 1865 label of Trois Etoiles (Three Stars) Cognac — the name under which V.S was first known.  As the cognac visionary, Hennessy was the first in the industry to sell its wares in bottles, in addition to casks. Each of the 300,000 Limited Edition Hennessy V.S bottles are uniquely numbered and celebrate a proud history with the community, including its long-standing relationship with the National Urban League (NUL), a historic civil rights organization dedicated to economic empowerment in order to elevate the standard of living in historically underserved urban communities.

Cheers!
