Sade- Soldier of Love Album Review
January 29th, 2010 | By Isis

There are some artist who need to grace our ears with new music every six months or risk becoming irrelevant in the spectrum of things. These artist are never far from within the publics line of vision. And then there are those artist who will release an album and appear to drop off the face of the earth. Years and months go by and yet and still these artist manage to remain a main-staple in the minds and hearts of people, of their fans. They remain relevant to the time despite the day, as singles of past years projects maintain regular radio rotation. These artist don’t buckle under pressure nor do they falter to the threat of the hour-glass. They dwell in the realm of creation until their vision aligns with the product they have produced. It is then they grant themselves access to be reintroduced to the industry. It is then that they offer to the world, what they have held so near and dear to their hearts, seeking a new impression, hoping to incite the legions of fans who await their reemergence. Sade is one such artist and the album Soldier of Love is a perfect example of timeless talent. This album offers a ten track discourse in the pains and pleasures associated with love. It also showcases pure talent, as it pairs Sade’s signature voice with pure musicianship. Overall I wasn’t disappointed. Check out a few of the tracks off the album below. Be sure to purchase the album in stores Feb 8th.
