October 11th, 2009 | By Isis
So part of being a Snewtonian includes exposing yourself to cultured events and places. So below is a start for my future Snewtonians. Here are a List of The Museums in Chicago, the featured exhibits and the free days… yes I said free days. So feel free to take your significant other, your kids, or whomever and get some culture in your system.
Adler Planetarium – Free Days
Oct (Tues) 6, 13, 20, & 27
Feature Exhibit:

Kick-off your weekend early every third Thursday, 6:00 – 10:00 p.m., at the Adler Planetarium’s new 21+ event, Adler After Dark.Enjoy cocktails and appetizers against the award-winning view of the Chicago skyline seen only from the Adler. Amble around the Adler’s exhibitions or take in a sky or space show. See Saturn’s rings or Jupiter’s great red spot with your own eyes using the Adler’s telescopes. Adler After Dark is the only time you can peek through the Doane Observatory telescope, the largest telescope in the Midwest accessible to the public.
